Clansman Talk

We had Martin (M0LCY) give a talk and demo on the British Clansman Military radio system, which were used in various versions from man portable to heavy vehicle. This was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Martin.

VHF SSB Contest

The 144mhz SSB Contest was again entered by Mark Procter (G1PIE) on behalf of the Club on Tuesday 6th July. 269 points were raised to the Club for the total at the end of 2010.

RSGB 80m CW Contest

John Taylor (G3OWO) entered the 80 meter CW Club calls contest using the Club call G3KUE and worked over 90 contacts. Superb effort, well done John. Nice to see the club call on CW.

John G3OWO also has taken part in RSGB low power field day, contest on CW sunday 18th July and worked 77 contacts, again using the Club call G3KUE once again well done John. The Club is now appearing in the RSGB contests a lot including the 144mhz ssb UKAC, keep up the good work.
